Well I’m not sure, but I know it’s got something to do with magic.

My name is Trudi White and I believe in magic.

Oh not the David Blaine or Sigfried and Roy type of magic.

I believe in the kind of magic that each of us can generate in our own lives.

I guess that’s why I wrote a novel where I compare the protagonists to Fairy Godmothers.

But to me a Fairy Godmother has a very modern, very new thought kind of meaning. See. to me... the Fairy Godmother represents the magic within each of us. The potential to create whatever we choose in our lives. She's the part of us sometimes called the Inner Being, the True Self or the Higher Self.

She knows we're perfect. She knows we came to this life intentionally. She really is the "God"mother of our being. Capable of creating whatever we choose in this life. The strength, the wisdom, the certainty to propel us forward.

The Godmother is always there guiding us - leading us - waiting for us. She spends a lot of time waiting for us. Mostly waiting for us to understand how perfect and powerful we are. Waiting for us to let in the Good that has been prepared for us.

She knows. Knows we're good. Knows we're God. Knows its all perfect.

I have always been drawn to Cinderella stories - the classic story and newly styled versions like "Ever After." When I was younger, I think was drawn to them for the rescue aspect. Cinderella being rescued by her Fairy Godmother and the Prince.

Now I think the pull for me is the emergence of an Inner Self that is much more beautiful, much more wise and much more authentic than anyone would ever have guessed. I like the idea of the Inner Light shining forth into the world.

The prince in Cinderella to me represents any heartfelt dream. The chance to truly shine. So it's not about rescue for me anymore. It’s about recognizing my own Inner Godmother and stepping into my own Glory.

I believe in magic and the tricks of the trade – well really they are tools of the trade. I’m not talking about Harry Potter with Magic wands and spell books, even though I love Harry Potter.
I’m talking about tools like mirrors.

Only it doesn’t have to be a physical mirror. I’m talking about using the whole world as your mirror and especially other people. I know a lot of people going around talking about projection. They talk about seeing things in others that you don’t like in yourself. But I really prefer to focus on positive projection.

Probably everyone has someone they tremendously. But we do that because we recognize something of ourselves in them. And we’re delighted and awed to see it held up to our faces as the mirror of the possibilities of our own lives.

When we start to get the hang of the reflective quality of the universe we can start deliberately holding up the mirror to each other – kinda like we did in class last week. We can help each other look into that mirror and see the best of ourselves.

One of the characters in The Goddess Documents says this about the reflective qualities of the mirror:

“We use the mirror to strip away the doubt. We use the mirror to strip away the layers of falseness and uncertainty we have learned to carry. In the mirror we use, there is no need for the trappings of the world. In our mirrors, God is always present. God is present in each of our young women. Just as God is present in each human being. But in our mirrors the complications are removed. Only the truth of the soul remains.

She goes on to say – talking about someone being helped by the mirror:

“She sees it by looking in her own eyes. She sees the possibilities. From that moment on the world no longer looks the same. Most women immediately assume complete responsibility for their lives. They see the potential in themselves and use that knowledge to launch themselves more fully into their lives and into the world. They step out of an ordinary existence into the truth of their own divinity.

You see, once a woman sees the truth about herself, she can also see beyond herself. She sees the places in the world where she can help others. She sees the potential of the world where love, hope and compassion are reflected. She finds the cause bigger than herself that can change the world.”

Jesus said in John 14:12 “the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” At that point he held up the mirror to all in attendance and said. “Hey look folks, I’m just showing you all what you are capable of. The magic, the mirror – the possibilities.

What is seeking to emerge in me right now? A way for me to be a mirror. A mirror that reflects that best of each person I meet. A mirror that reflects the best of the new age that is being born right now.

When I was in college, I worked in the career education center. We helped prepare graduating seniors for interviews. I don’t know if that’s where I first learned benefit of diving into the past for those gems of life that emphasize the best of who we are. But I know there’s a magic in that. There’s a magic about looking into past experiences and seeing how you excelled.

I guess that’s one of the reasons that some people find themselves in times of crisis, whether it’s a 9/11, cancer or a family emergency. They find the magic in themselves that they didn’t know they had before .

Another tool that magic loves is listening.

I’ve been told I’m a really good listener. I guess it’s because I listen for inner resources and strength. Whenever some lives to tell you of their tragedy, they really live to tell you of their strength. That strength could be survival or it could be triumph over the odds. Either way there’s magic there.

What is seeking to emerge in me right now? A way of listening and reflecting that recognizes and magnifies the strength and triumph of us all.

Magic also loves using inspiration as a tool. That inspiration can come from another person. But it can also come from a story. I guess that’s why I love books and movies that inspire. Those that make you think outside the box. Stories that consider the possibility that there's more to life than what we see on TV. Stories that inspire dreaming. Stories that inspire authentic living. Magical stories.

What is seeking to emerge in me right now? Stories that reflect and inspire.

Another tool that magic loves is silence. We know here about going into the silence over and over again.

Ernest Holmes said “One of our ancient sayings is that 'To the man who can
perfectly ponder inaction, all things are possible."

Silence is where we find our demons and our gods. The demons that rule us. The demons whisper, speak and sometimes scream at us when we try to sit quietly.

But when we sit in silence and watch our breath or chant a mantra, the silence becomes a profound source of comfort and peace. And in that moment we can become one with the universe. We can find comfort, answers, and yes even God. And what greater magic is there?

What is seeking to emerge in my now? Silence. Even in the midst of a storm. A way of peaceful being that allows God to flow through and as me in the world.

What is seeking to emerge in me now? MAGIC! The magic to be silent and listen. The magic to reflect and inspire. The magic to know the best in everyone I see.Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-23680264979570232462009-11-21T20:26:00.000-08:002009-11-21T20:26:23.614-08:00Special E-book OfferFor a limited time only you can get The Goddess Documents Ebook for only $4.95
Bri was full of questions at their next meeting.

“So what you do is help young women achieve their dreams,” said Bri. “Isn’t that a bit like being a Fairy Godmother?”

“Oh we haven’t been called that in generations. To tell you the truth, I always liked the romance of thinking of that way.” explained Diana.

“As Fairy Godmothers? But isn’t that sort of silly and trivial?”

“Everyone needs a Fairy Godmother from time to time dear.”

“You’re kidding, right? I’m supposed to go into training to be a Fairy Godmother?”

“Just like you needed Lydia Day, other women need someone who believes in them. Unconditionally. Someone who can see our strengths when we’re too confused to see clearly.”

“We’re the Daughters of Inanna. Not that there’s anything wrong with Fairy Godmothers, mind you.” Diana looked off into space and began to talk, as if to no one.

“We all need a Fairy Godmother sometimes,” she said again. “Not to magically improve us or lift us up out of our circumstances. The real magic of the Fairy Godmother is in the mirror she holds up for us to look into.

The mirror shows us the possibilities of our Selves and our Lives. It shows us what we can become.

The Fairy Godmother never brings us what we don’t have. She doesn’t change us. She doesn’t even suggest that there is anything wrong with the way we are. She knows the truth.

The Fairy Godmother works with what is present. In Cinderella, she transformed the girl’s ragged dress into a ball gown. The Fairy Godmother transformed what was already there. She brought forth a different aspect of what was present. The Fairy Godmother knew with absolute certainty that what Cinderella saw was not the whole truth. The Fairy Godmother knew that in a different form the dress Cinderella was already wearing would be perfect for the ball.

Notice that Cinderella was already beautiful and graceful. She just couldn’t see it herself. The Godmother didn’t need to enhance that or Cinderella's wit and charm. Cindy just needed the confidence of all the trappings. Once her confidence was bolstered by the dress, the coach and all of the accessories, Cinderella let her own inner beauty come forth. So, of course she won the prince. She had everything it took. She had always had it. The prince, is of course only a symbol. A symbol of a young woman’s heartfelt dream. Today, it could be a family, a career or a simple desire to help in the world and feel fulfilled.

That’s what we all need sometimes. Someone to truly look at us. Someone to see our strength and beauty. Someone to see our true selves. Then we in turn can act as a mirror to the one who doesn’t see so clearly.

Most of us need the Fairy Godmother to serve as that mirror. Once we see what’s really inside, our confidence builds and we demonstrate who we really are. Once our self-doubt is removed, we no longer hesitate to follow our hearts. In our hearts we find the truth and beauty of who we are. Then we truly have something to give to the world.

That’s the reality of it all. That’s one of the big lessons we come to this life to learn. Once we are truly ourselves, when we live from the core of our Divine nature, that’s all we want to do, is give. We recognize the unity of all life. But that’s very difficult to do when we’re blinded by day-to-day troubles.

So that’s what we do. We help women find their true Divine nature. Then the world has the gift of that beauty and that truth. And our women can’t wait to return the favor by passing on beauty, truth and service to the world. We don’t call ourselves Fairy Godmothers, but the principle of bringing out the best in women is one of our prime directives.”
Entrepreneurs from "The Goddess Documents"“I talk to people all the time who want more fulfillment
in life. They think they can get it by doing something or
waiting for something or hoping something will happen.
Then they’ll be fulfilled. I used to be like that – waiting for
the day when happiness and fulfillment would come my way.
There I was in a job I didn’t much like. Talking about how I
would find a way to do work with more meaning in the world.
But you know that’s all I was doing - talking about it. When
I get more time, when I find a place to volunteer close to
home, when I find a worthy organization that helps kids.
That’s when I’ll join. That’s when I’ll make a difference.
Then I just stopped. I stopped waiting. I just lived.
Stopped in my tracks and surveyed my own landscape. I
looked at exactly where I stood in that moment. In that
moment, I felt the difference. I finally got it. That’s all there
is – feeling. It’s really not about what I do or even about my
results. Then I started listening. Listening to my heart.
Now, for me, it’s become all about how I do what I do. Do I
do it fully? Do I give my all? Do I do what I do in joy and
service? When I am doing that I’m not worried about
fulfillment. I’m experiencing it. Being happy is really how
we are, with people, on the job, in the circumstance. But
mostly how we are with ourselves. That’s where happiness
and fulfillment lie. In giving what we have fully and in joy in
every moment, no matter what we’re doing.

By the way, the week after I “stopped”, the perfect
volunteer job appeared. Next I had a chance to move into a
new position. Now I’m happier than ever.”Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-20130092950121223562007-10-10T20:34:00.000-07:002007-10-10T20:35:08.915-07:00The Goddess Documents is available for pre-release sale!
<param name="src" value="http://www.lulu.com/author/widgets/msf/ministorefront.swf?theme=7&showThumbnail=true&showDescription=true&showTitle=true&widgetName=Trudi L. Elite athletes use it. The super rich use it. And peak performers in all fields are now starting to use it. That power is called visualization. The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams. Visualization of your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1. It activates your creative subconscious which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2. It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3. It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4. It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.

Visualization is really quite simple. You sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and imagine — in as vivid detail as you can — what you would be looking at if the dream you have were already realized. Imagine being inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes at the ideal result.

Mental Rehearsal
Athletes call this visualization process “mental rehearsal,” and they have been using it since the 1960s when we learned about it from the Russians. All you have to do is set aside a few minutes a day. The best times are when you first wake up, after meditation or prayer, and right before you go to bed. These are the times you are most relaxed. Go through the following three steps:

1. Imagine sitting in a movie theater, the lights dim, and then the movie starts. It is a movie of you doing perfectly whatever it is that you want to do better. See as much detail as you can create, including your clothing, the expression on your face, small body movements, the environment and any other people that might be around. Add in any sounds you would be hearing — traffic, music, other people talking, cheering. And finally, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you engage in this activity.

2. Get out of your chair, walk up to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Now experience the whole thing again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. This is called an “embodied image” rather than a “distant image.” It will deepen the impact of the experience. Again, see everything in vivid detail, hear the sounds you would hear, and feel the feelings you would feel.

3. Finally, walk back out of the screen that is still showing the picture of you performing perfectly, return to your seat in the theater, reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Then, bring this miniature screen up to your mouth, chew it up and swallow it. Imagine that each tiny piece — just like a hologram — contains the full picture of you performing well. Imagine all these little screens traveling down into your stomach and out through the bloodstream into every cell of your body. Then imagine that every cell of your body is lit up with a movie of you performing perfectly. It’s like one of those appliance store windows where 50 televisions are all tuned to the same channel.

When you have finished this process — it should take less than five minutes — you can open your eyes and go about your business. If you make this part of your daily routine, you will be amazed at how much improvement you will see in your life.

Create Goal Pictures
Another powerful technique is to create a photograph or picture of yourself with your goal, as if it were already completed. If one of your goals is to own a new car, take your camera down to your local auto dealer and have a picture taken of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your dream car. If your goal is to visit Paris, find a picture or poster of the Eiffel Tower and cut out a picture of yourself and place it into the picture. With today’s technology, you could probably make an even more convincing image using your computer.

Create a Visual Picture and an Affirmation for Each Goal
We recommend that you find or create a picture of every aspect of your dream life. Create a picture or a visual representation for every goal you have — financial, career, recreation, new skills and abilities, things you want to purchase, and so on. When we were writing the very first Chicken Soup for the Soul® book, we took a copy of the New York Times best seller list, scanned it into our computer, and using the same font as the newspaper, typed Chicken Soup for the Soul into the number one position in the “Paperback Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous” category. We printed several copies and hung them up around the office. Less than two years later, our book was the number one book in that category and stayed there for over a year!

Index Cards
We practice a similar discipline every day. We each have a list of about 30-40 goals we are currently working on. We write each goal on a 3x5 index card and keep those cards near our bed and take them with us when we travel. Each morning and each night we go through the stack of cards, one at a time, read the card, close our eyes, see the completion of that goal in its perfect desired state for about 15 seconds, open our eyes and repeat the process with the next card.

Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization
An affirmation is a statement that evokes not only a picture, but the experience of already having what you want. Here’s an example of an affirmation:
I am happily vacationing 2 months out of the year in a tropical paradise,
and working just four days a week owning my own business.

Repeating an affirmation several times a day keeps you focused on your goal, strengthens your motivation, and programs your subconscious by sending an order to your crew to do whatever it takes to make that goal happen.

Expect Results
Through writing down your goals, using the power of visualization and repeating your affirmations, you can achieve amazing results. Visualization and affirmations allow you to change your beliefs, assumptions, and opinions about the most important person in your life — YOU! They allow you to harness the 18 billion brain cells in your brain and get them all working in a singular and purposeful direction.

Your subconscious will become engaged in a process that transforms you forever. The process is invisible and doesn’t take a long time. It just happens over time, as long as you put in the time to visualize and affirm, surround yourself with positive people, read uplifting books and listen to audio programs that flood your mind with positive, life-affirming messages.

Repeat your affirmations every morning and night for a month and they will become an automatic part of your thinking — they will become woven into the very fabric of your being.

© 2006 Jack Canfield
________________________________________
Jack Canfield, America’s Success Coach, is the founder and co-creator of the billion-dollar book brand Chicken Soup for the Soul and the nation's leading authority on Peak Performance. Although he was writing before the genre was clearly defined to me this paragraph does an excellent job of describing Visionary Fiction.

Throughout history storytelling has been a significant avenue of communication. From Aesop's Fables and biblical parables to Jonathan Livingston Seagull and many additional ancient and modern sources, we can learn readily by stepping aside to the position of objective observer. There the sting of criticism is not so painful. The action and resulting consequences happened to the fox or bird or prodigal son. Ye with very little effort we see how the truth and universal essence belongs to us all. We are moved to new perceptions, emotion, and behavior through these "fictional" examples.
Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1165290859057680822006-12-04T19:37:00.000-08:002006-12-04T19:57:04.736-08:00Visionary FictionI love books that inspire. It's the genre known as Visionary Fiction or Metaphysical Fiction. Books that make you think outside the box. Books that look at life a little differently. Books that challenge the status quo. Books that consider the possibility that there's more to life than what we see on tv. Books that inspire dreaming. Books that inspire living authentically. I'd like to think The Goddess Documents was one of those books. It'll take a lot more readers before than can be judged to be the case.

Here are two of my favorite Visionary or Transformational Fiction books:

<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=thegoddessdoc-20&o=1&p=9&l=st1&mode=books&search=044020562X&fc1=<1=&lc1=&bg1=&f=ifr" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" width="180" height="150" border="0" frameborder="0" style="border:none;" scrolling="no">

<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=thegoddessdoc-20&o=1&p=6&l=st1&mode=books&search=%200060955775&fc1=<1=&lc1=&bg1=&f=ifr" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" width="120" height="150" border="0" frameborder="0" style="border:none;" scrolling="no">Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1163521776395346362006-11-14T08:04:00.000-08:002006-11-15T08:13:26.873-08:00The Power of Choice - A Review of "Left to Tell"I am inspired by the story of faith during hardship in Left to Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza

In the midst of the most horrific events I could possibly imagine she made a choice. It is about nourishing a woman from the roots of her being and empowering her from the inside out. The presence of the Goddess is within all beings, but as women we are the reflection of her animated nature, we are her voice, her body and her essence.

Acknowledging your value, beauty and self-worth as a woman is essential to awakening the Goddess within you. Remember that you, dear Goddess, are matchless, irreplaceable and distinctive in every way. There are no two people on this earth like you, there is only you, utterly unique and incomparable to anyone else. There is no one greater than or less than you anywhere, you are significant and you are needed to step fully into who you truly are.

In my work with women, the most common theme I hear is that they don’t have the time to nourish themselves; they feel more like slaves to life than Goddesses. Between work life, home life, raising children, soccer, ballet, cooking, cleaning, and so on, women are burning the candle at both ends and devaluing themselves in the process. I have seen women break down in tears over the unloved parts of themselves, I have heard their grief in the shadow of their broken dreams, I have watched as powerful women realize just how undernourished their spirits have become, I have witnessed and supported those who hold this pain deeply.

This is no life for a Goddess! It is time for you to blow on the ember of your inherent self-worth and nurture your feminine spirit. In truth it is only when you become your priority that you will have the inner well of abundance to share with your loved ones – you need fuel to go the distance.

What little things can you work into your day, week or month to re-fuel the Goddess within you? Is getting a massage on your list? How about settling into a hot bath or simply lighting a candle at the end of the day? What are some of the flavors of your life that feed your spirit?

A few of my personal favorites are:

*Making an aromatic cup of tea, infusing myself with herbal wellness.

* Taking beauty walks - breathing in the beauty of life around me.

*Sitting by the ocean and connecting with its power.

*Anointing the Goddess I am with pure body oils and fragrant creams.

*Eating for Beauty - preparing vibrant and alive foods of different colors, tastes and textures.

*Writing in my journal with colorful pens.

*Spending quality time with girlfriends; having Goddess Parties and Sacred Women’s Circles.

*Creating a sacred space that is comforting and calming.

*Calling in guidance; working with a coach, therapist, or tarot cards for support.

As a woman grows, she blossoms and blooms, and discovers more of who she is. She is fed by her pleasures as she weaves through her life’s challenges and triumphs. Calling in the goddess is an act of love. It is a powerful re-connection to the essence of a woman’s divine feminine spirit, her love and beauty and her wondrous womanly ways. You are the Goddess dearest one, from birth to death and everyplace in between. Unlock, unleash, unravel and step into your true calling as the Goddess you are begins to take root, for she is ready to take her place at the throne of your feminine power.

Truth is Beauty, Beauty Truth

Elizabeth Stahl B.A., N.H.C., is the creator and facilitator of “My Goddess Party”, Star of Aphrodite Life Coaching and The Sacred Woman’s Circle.

Elizabeth has 16 years of experience in the Natural Health Field specializing in Women’s Health and Wellness.

Elizabeth combines her practice as a Natural Health Consultant, with her Life Coaching Practice, Goddess Parties and Sacred Women’s Circles.

She is available for private sessions, group work, classes, workshops and Virtual Goddess Parties over the telephone.

For more information contact:
Elizabeth Stahl

Check out my websites at:

http://www.MyGoddessParty.com

http://www.Goals2Gold.com

http://www.MyVirtualGoddessParty.com

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Elizabeth_StahlEntrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159930282366129892006-10-03T19:50:00.000-07:002006-10-03T19:51:22.376-07:00Perfect LifeWhen I was a kid, I just knew I'd have the perfect life when I grew up.

When I was kid, I imagined that I'd settle down, get married, and have kids.

The only thing I got right was the settling down part. Unfortunately, it's my body that's settled down, not my life. Those body parts I was particularly proud of in my youth have settled down at least six inches from where they were 20 years ago.

Kids? A long time ago, I realized kids are for people who aren't addicted to sleep.

Sleep deprivation starts early. Being pregnant presents its own sleeping challenges. Once born, the baby dictates when and if the parents sleep. Then there's a childhood full of nightmares, illnesses and slumber parties to keep parents awake.

When they get to be teenagers, then parents get to sleep, right? Not in today's world. Even if the parents are lucky enough to have kids that make it home by curfew, there's a still a lot to keep them up worrying all night. Are the kids into drugs, gangs, dangerous counter-culture, or raves? Should you preach abstinence or safe sex? Purple hair is a blessing these days.

Marriage? My dog and cat are about as much of a long-term relationship as I can handle. And I ended up giving the cat to my parents.

When I was a kid, I just knew I 'd have a great home and a housekeeper. After owning a home, I can really relate to that movie "The Money Pit". I used travel nine months out of the year. Owning a house for me meant the following:

Get home. Fix the air conditioner. Go back on the road.
Get home. Fix the roof. Go back on the road.
Get home. Fix the toilet. Replace the carpet. Go back on the road.
Get home. Replace the air conditioner. Go back on the road.
Sold the house.

I've never had the home (or the paycheck) big enough for the housekeeper.

That leaves the career.

When I was a kid, I dreamed I'd have this great career. You know, plenty of responsibility, creativity, money, travel and free time? Well, that's how kids dream isn't it?

My last career as a Catastrophe Claim Supervisor for a major insurance company fit two of those criteria. Plenty of responsibility and plenty of travel. Unfortunately, being a storm-chaser who followed hurricanes, tornadoes and hailstorms, meant I was on call to leave for anywhere in the country with just 24 hours notice. Then I might be gone for three weeks to six months at a time.

The 72 hour workweeks didn't leave much room for free time. The money was okay, if you don't consider the trade-offs; like having control over my own life. And creativity? Two words say it all; insurance claims.

When I was a kid, I just knew I'd have the perfect life when I grew up. I was right. But, I've changed my definition of perfect to mean unpredictable.Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159501932181366102006-09-28T20:46:00.000-07:002006-09-28T20:58:51.983-07:00Cinderella StoriesI have always been drawn to Cinderella stories - the classic story and newly styled versions like "Ever After." When I was younger, I think was drawn to them for the rescue aspect. Cinderella being rescued by her Fairy Godmother and the Prince. Now I think the pull for me is the emergence of an Inner Self that is much more beautiful, much more wise and much more authentic than anyone around would ever have guessed. I like the idea of the Inner Light shining forth into the world. My views regarding the Fairy Godmother are reflected below. The Prince to me represents any heartfelt dream. The chance to truly shine. So it's not about rescue for me anymore. It's about stepping into my own Glory.Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159417267590013882006-09-27T21:14:00.000-07:002006-09-27T21:28:45.376-07:00About the whole Fairy Godmother thing...See..to me... the Fairy Godmother represents the magic within each of us. The potential to create whatever we choose in our lives. She's the part of us sometimes called the Inner Being, the True Self or the Higher Self. She knows we're perfect. She knows we came to this life intentionally. She really is the "God"mother of our being. Capable of creating whatever we choose in this life. The strength, the wisdom, the certainty. That's all part of the Godmothers gifts to us.

Knows its all perfect.Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159378930293362972006-09-27T10:41:00.000-07:002006-09-27T10:46:55.516-07:00Why Ask a Guru?

Ask a guru - Google it - but always check with your Inner Being.Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159203004867014052006-09-25T09:47:00.000-07:002006-09-26T13:52:17.000-07:00Using the Mirror as a reflective tool - part twoWhen a young woman sees the truth of her soul – clearly and unencumbered, miracles begin to happen. Some young women immediately get in touch with their soul’s purpose and mission. Others become incredibly clear on a situation or a relationship in their lives. Still others find the courage to follow the dream that has always been present in them at some level of their being.

In short, whatever will most propel the young woman forward is what is she is able to see. She sees it by looking in her own eyes.

Excerpted from "The Goddess Documents"Entrepreneurs Elevatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02958623781429050219noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33400004.post-1159202693171997922006-09-25T09:42:00.000-07:002006-09-25T09:44:53.180-07:00Using the Mirror as a reflective tool - part one“We use the mirror to strip away the doubt. It reached into my soul and touched the place inside me which is always searching.

The journey echoes that of so many of us seekers in the world. We search through many kingdoms for our treasure. And while it may be where we least expect it, the real prize is in the journey itself.

In The Alchemist we follow the trail blazed by the boy Santiago. Although as we are told his name in the beginning of the book, as we follow his adventures he is referred to simply as the boy. That simple technique helps us stay in touch with the sweetness and innocnce of the main character despite the many unsettling circumstances he finds himself in. Somehow we remain convinced that the boy would stay true to his heart and his purpose even when he seems to be going astray.

Early in the book the boy is told by a man claiming to be the King of Salem that, "To realize one's Personal Legend is a person's only real obligation." The King also offers the following," And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

The book then leads the boy through his Personal Legend. The boy learns much, ages and matures until he must face the final challenge on his Personal Legend.

Along the way he has the option of consulting fortune telling coins, given to him by the King, but chooses instead to watch the signs and learn the "Language of the World" and in fact the language of his own heart.

In the end the boy understands that he must look within, "It was his heart that would tell him where his treasure was hidden."

Told simply and elegantly The Alchemist is an easy read with layers of depth within. Sometimes we believe what it has to tell us is real. Take for example that big interview. You put on your best suit, show up, nail it with your best professional persona.

Afterwards the doubts start to creep in. What if they think that's who I am? Oh, I wish I was that mature? Got them fooled, don't I? And so we question ourselves.

But really, that's life. A series of personas we put on to fit the situation. That doesn't make us fake or phony. It doesn't make us wrong or a fraud. It's just our natural ability to adapt.

We have this myth in our society that to be real means being the same all the time. Well, the realest people I know are those who can take their authentic self into any situation and still fit it. They don't fit in by being the same or by being phony. They fit in by adapting the situation.

It's like your clothes. You wear your shorts to the baseball game, your dress to your cousin's wedding, and a business suit to the big meeting. And then there's bedtime attire, but that's a topic all in itself. Underneath those clothes it's the same body, probably pretty much the same face (depending on whether or not you botox), the same person. So it is with personas.
